Raymarines premier VHF radio, the Ray260 delivers state-of-the-art VHF communications in a flexible, modular design with support for three remote stations. Each Ray260 system consists of a full function handset, remote speaker and a remotely mounted transceiver. Class D Digital Selective Calling (DSC), a full-featured loud hailer/foghorn, and an multistation intercom are all standard features on the Ray260.
The powerful, remote-mounted speaker ensures you are heard loud and clear. The remote speaker?s design matches Raymarine instruments and multifunction displays for a clean and integrated helm appearance. An active speaker with a dedicated volume control is also available as an option.
A powerful 25-watt/1-watt, remotely mounted transceiver with Class D Digital Selective Calling ensures the Ray260 delivers reliable communications. The Ray260 transceiver also features dualwatch, tri-watch, and channel scanning capabilities.
Digital voicemail and message recording
Ray260?s new Digital Voicemail feature allows you to pre-record a 15 second voice message and automatically send it to another DSC-equipped vessel. You can also use it to record incoming voice messages or alerts up to 90-seconds.
Ray260s position tracking feature allows you to simultaneously receive position reports from up to 5 nearby DSC equipped vessels. Vessel positions are transmitted to the chartplotter display, allowing you to keep tabs on your cruising party; monitor vessels of interest, or commercial users can keep track of their local fleet.
Ray260?s built-in loudhailer features 30-watt output and 2-way talk back too, so you can easily communicate with your on-deck crew in noisy conditions. The hailer also includes an automatic foghorn with built-in signals for both power and sailing vessels.
